Switching over to Firefox

I've been using Firefox for a month (Used IE before that) and I am very impressed. It is a million times better than IE.

I am never going to use IE again (unless forced on me by some cyber cafe which doesnt have any other browser).

Reasons why Firefox is much better :

1) Tabbed browsing.
I sometimes get very irritated when too many browser windows are open (Ofcourse its me who opened all of them but still..). Tab browsing :

”Tab-Browsing changes the way you use the internet by allowing you to open links on a page in background "Tabs" and then read them when you're ready. No confusing new windows, no need for context menus, just hold down Ctrl when clicking a link, or use your middle mouse button (if you have one).”

2) Integrated Search Engine
Firefox comes with an inbuilt Google search Engine. Though we can add google toolbar in IE, the one in firefox takes very less space and feels like it belongs to the browser.

3) Blocking Images
Firfox gives us the power to block images from a particular site. Especially useful if you want to download some cracks (which you usually get in a site full of adult photos) or when you have to load the pages faster.

4) Security
Most of the harmful plugins are programmed for IE (atleast till now). Firefox has a popup-block which is very effective.

5) Download Manager
Firefox has a basic Download Manager which is good enough. You can pause your download - continue again. May not be as good as some download manager programs but its free!

6) Faster
According to experts, A webpage loads much faster in Firefox than in IE

7) Themes
There are millions of theme to choose from.

8) Excellent plugins
Firefox addons has some excellent plugins. (Will be a seperate post on that)
